Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Birthday

Last night I started making the black and white hat in the above picture. I mixed up the pictures by accident. See below the yarn I decided to make it with....

Well, I have great news....I met a fellow loom knitter yesterday at the second yarn meeting. We had a really great time knitting, drinking coffee and just talking. We stayed later then the 1-3 time...pretty cool. I started and almost finished my crochet little purse (see above). With the extra yarn I made a scrunchies too.

I picked brown yarns...hopefully I can finish it tonight. I made lasagna yesterday so I can have extra knitting time. I know, I know it sounds very selfish, but I have so many projects to do...I need to finish one day he he

My cute husband at work...yummy...he was getting ready to dive in the cold cold water.
My oldest modeling his cool skateboard pose. Jean Paul, my youngest modeling his cool guy outfit.

Ya know, a mother can not be prouder. I have a son the loves to read, I have a son that sews and knits and I have a son that make me laugh. I could never ask for more!! I have everything a mother could ask for... and more!!!
