Crocheted Slippers

I saw these cute slipper on one of the many yahoo groups I am member of.......I forgot which one. I think I am going to start them after I finish my large granny square afghan for a friend of mine. She was diagnosed with breast Cancer last week and in going in tomorrow for surgery.

Early Birthday Present

These beautiful beads came from my Mother-in-Law in Arizona. I put them together this weekend while my husband cleaned the garage. I think the are awesome!!

This is what I will be doing for my birthday............ooh ya watching UFC!! There is a big fight Saturday night. My husband is going to take me to dinner and watch the fight :)

Busy Busy Bee

Here is the first scarf for Dee's contest. I made it with some extra yarn I had in my stash. I started my second one this morning.

Labor Day Weekend

Well, my brother and his family are gone. They left a few days ago. Theya re off to Canada. Below are a few of the pictures we took. I gave them there scarves to take with them.

We went to North Carolina for Labor Day weekend. We had a great time. We tooke a few pictures. I bought some great yarn at Yarn Circle a local yarn shop in Murphy.

Garden work...yuck

My wonderful husband made me a garden box. I spent the weekend painting it and filling it with dirt. I sent ahead and put gravel next to the air conditioner to make it look nice. I hope my dog will not dig there any more. My nephews help me.

First Scarf now two more to go.....

Here is my oldest nephew showing off his new scarf I made him with the ugly yarn.
They are moving to Canada in a few weeks. I hope I can make them hats too. I will miss them so much!

Last blanket...this one is a star

Well I made my smallest nephew a star blanket. He does not look too happy. He was on his way to take a nap. I like how it came out but I wish I had made it a little bit bigger.
